SOURCE: Linksys WRT150N

Hi there,

I only have 3 suggestions.

1st one is to make sure the ssid is not similar to other routers you are using on your profile. ie.(change it to a unique name)

2nd is to make sure you check the box that says broadcast your ssid.

3rd check to make sure you select the router as an access point and not adhoc or infrastructure option. Finally you can try to change the channels eg. i like channel 3 b/c it doesnt interfere with any phone lines.

good luck

I have a linksys router wrt150n but no driver to install it with. Can anyone help me!

You do not need a driver to connect to routers or access points. alternatively, you may need the driver of the network cards on your computer, not the router. So make sure those are installed.

My wireless connection is running super slow AND I cant access the router via 192.168.1.1

You can try to reset your router
Reset the Linksys WRT150N wireless home router if you are experiencing connection issues or have forgotten your customized router login information. Resetting the Linksys WRT150N will erase your Internet connection settings, wireless security preferences and all other personal settings from the router. This procedure will restore the WRT150N back to its factory state.
Instructions
1 Locate the "Reset" button on the back panel of the router. The button is situated to the right of the Ethernet ports and to the left of the power port.
2 Press and hold the "Reset" button.
3 Release the "Reset" button after approximately five seconds. The device resets

Use the Linksys WRT150N setup CD-ROM to run the setup wizard and reconfigure the router after the reset.

I need a driver for my linksys wireless router wrt150n for a windows 7 operatimg system the disc i got with it is not compatible with windows 7. Please help

You really do NOT need a driver for your router (Routers do not have drivers.) All the CD contains is a setup wizard and the User Guide.

Go to Linksys' webpage here and look into the FAQ's. There are some articles on how to setup your router with Windows 7. You can also download the user guide (under Downloads) and follow the steps outlined in Chapter 5.

If you have any more questions, just come back here and leave a comment - I'm happy to help.

I got a linksys WRT150N wireless router from a friend and it didn't come with the install disk.

You don't really need it ... You should reset the router (find the little hole in the botton or the back - insert a paperclip and press gently for 30 seconds).

If you want the software. go to www.linksys.com and get it in the support section.

If you want a excellent network manager, get Network Magic (free download and eval) read the deal while there.
