Replaced main pwb on sharp ar-235 now i need to program the machine counter data is it a special test command

CRUM data read trouble
Replace the toner cartridge.
Replace MCU PWB.
Replace MCU PWB EEPROM
Check and fix connection between
CRUM (toner cartridge) and MCU

You can clear this by turning your copier off and then on. Try turning it back on with the network cable unplugged, run your machine, then plug the network cable back in. If the error code comes back, its: 1) bad network cable 2) ungrounded electrical plug for copier or router 3) noise on network line 4) copier needs firmware update 5) replace the print board

L6 10 Content Polygon motor lock trouble

Details The polygon motor does not rotate.

The motor lock signal is detected for 6sec

or more after the polygon motor rotates.

The motor lock signal is detected for 1sec

during rotation of the polygon motor.

Cause Polygon motor unit failure

Polygon motor connection harness trouble

or disconnection

MCU PWB failure

Check

and

remedy

Check the polygon motor operation with

SIM 61-1.

Check connector/harness of polygon

motor

Replace the polygon motor.
Replace the MCU PWB.

If the polygon motor isn't working then you will neeto buy a new Laser Unit. They can be expensive if you can get one. To replace it will tak alot of disassembly as well. Might be better and more cost effective to get a new machine.

remedy and adjustment values, write down the
counter data and adjustment values by
simulation. (If there is a printer option,

Clear U2 trouble with SIM16.
Replace PCU PWB.

Your laser unit may be bad. try c interupt 0 interupt,,enter 14 and push start. the machine should reset. If the code returns, you need a laser unit replaced. 200-300 dollar repair.

To enter the serviceman test command mode, press the keys as
follows:
[#] key → [*] key → [C] key → [*] key
To cancel the test command mode, press the [CA] key.

Use TC 5-02 to check the heater lamp blinking

When the lamp does not light up.
Check for disconnection of the heater lamp and
the thermostat. Check the interlock switch.
Check the power PWB and the lamp control
circuit on the MCU PWB.
Use TC 14 to clear the self diagnostic display.

Did you clear the code? It's been a while since I worked on one of these but there is a diagnostic mode you need to go into. Something like:

C Interrupt 0 Interrupt

at that point the machine clicks and asks you for a test command number. Enter 14 and press the copy button. That should reset the code. If not try 15.

Hi, from memory, the secret test commands are: # I CA #, then 81 to reset main copy count.
