Question about Samsung Sp-H710AE Multimedia Projector
Lamp shutts off after about a minuet or so..
the wierd problem is.. the lamp does not shutt off.. and everthing seem to work fine if the unit is set on either of its sides.
any help is appreciated. thanks. JR
Sounds a lot like a heat problem; the unit may not be running hot but there may be a bimetal thermal switch that has become fussy.
If you have an electronics supply nearby, they will have 'freeze spray' and if you procure it, you can see if the projector will turn back on if you give it a shot in a vent. Do NOT spray it on a hot lamp; it may cause it to fracture.
I would also keep it out of the reach of kids since it can impart a nasty 'burn' if misused.
If this does make it turn back on, you will have to come back and seek help in locating the failing switch although the common ones are disc-shaped with two contacts coming from them.
This construction is failing in 100s of thousands of drip coffee makers too.
