Print cartridge

This may sound simple, but did you remember to remove the tape covering from the ink cartridge before installing it? If so, run a self-test and let me know the results:

1. Turn the printer ON.
2. Press and hold the POWER button.
3. Press the RESUME button FOUR times.
4. Release the POWER button.

You should get a nicely printed self-test. If it fails, there may be other troubleshooting methods we can employ.
I hope this helps!

Both the cartridges should in inwarranty and fine.
Shake the cartridges well
With the color and black cartridges touch a clean, slightly damp cloth (squeeze out excess water),
to the printer nozzle area on the print cartridge, to see if you can make the ink flow freely.

Be careful not to touch the nozzle area (with holes on it) on the cartridges.
Wipe the copper-colored electrical contacts with a clean distilled water or clean tap water and then with a dry lint-free cotton cloth
