There is no way to solve this problem without the model number of your phone. Also post the operating system of the computer that you are using (OSX, Windows, Linux).

How do I transfer pictures from phone to pc

When you connect your phone to your PC with the USB cable, the PC will ask you what you want to do. If it doesn't, then check the settings on your phone configuration to ensure that you are allowing it to connect as a disk drive device and not only for charging purposes. Once the PC sees your phone, it will assign it a Drive Letter and you can see it under MY COMPUTER. There will be a "DCIM" directory. Select it. Then you will see some subdirectories. These may vary slightly from phone to phone, but one of them will have your photos in them. Once you find the photos, you can copy or cut and paste them to any folder you wish in the computer.

Recover pictures from Samsung Smart phone?

Definitely Yes! First of all, you should stop saving any new files to your Samsung smart phone (or SD card) or taking new pictures.

Then find some photo recovery software from this site Best Computer Software, which are able to recover deleted or formatted photos from cell phone, digital camera, memory card and SD card etc.

Digital Photo Recovery for Windows

Digital Photo Recovery for Mac OS X

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Download and install the Digital Photo Recovery Software.

Step 2: Connect your Samsung smart phone (or SD card, memory card etc) to your PC or Mac.

Step 3: Scan the source drive where your lost pictures located.

Step 4: Recover the lost pictures and save them to another drive instead of the source drive.

How to transfer my photos to my computer

Hi,

1.Plug one end of the USB adapter into the phone, and the other end into an available USB port of your computer. Look to the bottom right of the screen and you should see an "Installing Driver..." window pop up. Wait a few minutes to allow the computer to look for a driver for your phone
2.Look for a window to pop up that tells you "Driver was successfully installed." If it never comes up, or instead a window pops up that says "Driver was not successfully installed," it means your computer did not recognize your cell phone. In this case, you'll need to look for the driver. If it did install, skip ahead to Step 5.

3.Install the driver by double-clicking on it. Before you do this, make sure your cell phone is unplugged. After you've installed the driver, plug in the cell phone, and it should be recognized
4.Go to "My Computer." Look for a new drive that has either the brand/model of the cell phone in the name, or simply a picture of the cell phone on the drive. It will probably have the drive name F:, I: or G:. Double-click on it.

5.
Go to Start > File > Settings > Folder Options and select to enable hidden files and folders to be shown. Then go back to your cell phone's folder and look around. You should see a folder with the name "Pictures," "Photos," "images" or a similar name. Double-click on it, and you should see all your cell phone images.

6.
Select images and right-click "Copy." Then go to your desktop and create a new folder by right-clicking and selecting "New Folder." Open up this new folder, right-click and select "Paste." Your images will then be copied from the cell phone to your computer where you'll be able to access them any time.

Take care.

Transfering music to my motorola z6m phone using a usb cable

Another way to do it is to drag & drop. Since it's telling you that your PC reconizes the cell (assuming your using windows XP) hit start, my computer, then with you USB cord connected your cell will show up here along with C: D: ect. (can't tell you what it will be named), find which one is your cell, double click that one. Make this window smaller, open your music window, make it smaller, click on the song you want & while holding the mouse down drag it into the window for your cell, it will be copied.
If this helps you plz rate this 'fixya', thank you kindly. If you need more help post comment, I'll be glad to help you more.
