Google talk going in and out - missing messages

I've been having problems for the past week with google talk.  It comes in and out several times an hour and I lose messages or other people don't get mine.  Others I know have been having the same problems.  Has this been reported?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

If you go with BT, they can't blame anyone else as it is Bt's cable, fibre and exchange that is in use.

I've had my compaq presario cq61 for about 2-3 years. A while back it would occasionally have a kind of shaky/blinky screen but just in the past week it's like the screen has stopped working.

The problem may be due the graphics card or data cable or backlighting.

The data cable can be severed over time though opening and closing the display. This can be replaced.
The backlighting/inverter dies, some-times the windows desktop screen can be seen if one looks carefully. This can also be replaced.

Try connect your notebook to another computer's monitor via VGA or HDMI out.

If this works then the problem lies with your LCD screen.

Take care!

Engine stalls on highway starts after 15 min

Sounds like the same problem I have been having with my 2002 Sedona for
the past 6 or 8 months. It would run OK for several days, weeks, or months,
then just quit. If I let it set for 10 to 20 minutes, it would restart and run fine
for at least the rest of that day. About 2 weeks ago, I was fortunate that it happened when someone was with me, so I was able to determine that it
was not getting any spark. Since then the problem has gotten worse and
more frequent - it was happening almost every day and would take over
1/2 an hour before it would start again. This morning was the last straw.
I drove for about 4 miles and it quit. Took 1 hour and 10 minutes before it
would restart. Drove another 2 miles and did it again. This time it took
1 hour 35 minutes before restart. After 1 more mile, it quit again. Took 2
hours, this time. Made it another mile and BAM! - did it again.
My bro towed me home. I determined that it is most likely NOT the crankshaft position sensor, because 99% of the time they either work,
or they don't. Very rarely does it cause in intermittant problem. The most
likely suspect is the engine computer. That was always a likely culpret
when I worked on GM cars. Today I installed a $50 junk yard engine control computer. I am crossing my fingers!
I will know on Thursday, as I have a 50 mile trip to make.
I will post again on Thursday, to let you all know.

For the past few weeks my Hanns G 19 inch LCD monitor keeps having troubles displaying a screen. It constantly makes a loud sound that it repeats and it takes several hours before the green light appears...

From the description you give, this sounds like a failure in the circuit board, normally the capacitors go and the thing refuses to power up, however, the fact it defaulted to a low resolution indicates that the actual board is in some way failing, possibly a damaged circuit, or component.

I would think it could be repaired and it may be a simple job for someone who can identify the failing component, however, I think that the cost of getting it repaired would outweigh the cost of replacement

The system shuts down while I'm on it but the tower stays on

Sounds like my Acer tower recently. Would lose display but HDD and fan/leds. etc were all happily humming along. Could do hard reboot and maybe no worries for hours or even a day before it would do it again and then maybe several times in a few hours. Issue turned out to be a bad stick of RAM. I got both replaced and no repeats in over a week. A friend talked about a memory tester called ORTHOS. Might be a free online tool? Not sure. Overclockers use it a lot from the looks of a quick GOOGLE I just did.
