I'm sorry, but that's just an awful car to have purchased. Faults gallor I'm afraid. Even some of us experts would gain valuable expertise working on a car like that. There is almost no online help for French cars as most people with experience like myself tend to stay well clear of them.
Your present issue is a failed stereo head unit.
Good luck with all the others you will no doubt have though.
Sorry for the bad news, and good luck! Don't take it the wrong way. I am talking about the car being of poor build and quality, not the owner. It's anyone's mistake to own a French car once in a lifetime.
RESET YOUR PLAYER AT DEFAULT SETTINGS. SWITCH IT OFF. SWITCH IT ON AND INSERT CD. GIVE THE PLAYER TIME TO READ. DON'T PRESS ANY BUTTONS TILL IT COMPLETE IT'S READING. IT WILL PLAY THE CD.
ALSO CHECK CD'S ARE BRANDED AND NOT COPY FROM COMPUTER. FEW COMPUTER WRITE CD NOT HAVE AUTO PLAY OPTION.
Try disconnecting the battery for a few seconds and try to eject the cd, if this don't work you can take the cd player to the dealer ship and they can send it to be repaired
Some Panasonic stereo's don't like non shop bought, home burnt discs (they are recorded at a different level) so try new discs plus run a CD laser cleaner through your system.
i cannot understand how you radio would work. These radios are coded throught data link to computer. the only way to get the stereo to work is to run a calibration program through the vehicle. then it should accept your new cd player. if the stereo's are the same then may I suggest you to take the radios appart and switch the parts that don't work like CD drive assembly and faceplate.but use your factory installed stereo as the main core, this should fix your isses and work fine since the calibration is for the origional factory stereo.
such unlock codes can only be obtained by following ways:
-go to the official dealer and request them an unlock cd.
-go to any car stereo shop and gt the stereo unlocked
-browse the internet for an unlock cd (making it is real tough and u cant do it until know many things both abt pc and stereo)
