I have a Rover 414, and the radio is not turning on, the radio unit itself seems to be ok it is the clock on the dash which is interlinked with the radio that seems to be the problem, is there a way to bypass the link to the clock?

No sound output in 2000 BMW 328i 4dr Sedan but radio functions properly?

Hi Toxey.

Does your trunk amplifier got power.
basically amp need remote power input it is coming from your radio.
please check when you turn on the radio remote power must turn on.
if no it is radio problem or wire is damaged itself.
please check the outputs, speakers with multimeter or single 1.5v cell.
if power is ok.and the remote on signal is ok your device still not working , it is the problem with power amplifier unit.

please check and let us know the status.
regards.

1997 Toyota 4 whl. Drive/6 cylinder..clock & radio light problem?

The clock unit is just defective and needs replaced. It is pretty common on these 3rd gen (96-02 Runners) -they are not cheap so many folks have just given up on them. T4R.org is a good place to look for one or a local junk yard if you need to replace it. While you have the dash apart for the clock then ...

Your radio issue is likely in the unit itself-and replacing the radio head unit with a more modern unit would likely be around the same cost as any fix of the old unit. Since many car stereo outlets install for free your only limitation is how much you choose to spend or the features needed. I seriously doubt Toyota can fix your light in the old stereo for any less than a new radio itself....but of course call the dealership and ask to be sure before you go spending big money....

Cant get outside time to work???

I have the same problem with mine. The outside temp displays OK for a while, then it displays two dashs. I unplug the main unit from the wall until the outside temp comes back. I then plug it back in and it works OK. I found that if the remote sensor is located more than 40 ft from the main unit and there are a couple of walls between the two, the outside temp fails more often. I have noticed that putting my wireless phone in it's charging craddle can cause the radio or nature sounds to turn on. I moved the main unit further away from the phone and that cured the problem. Sometimes it will do this if the humidity is low and I build up a static charge and then touch the unit.

I get no sound at all

Make sure put volume on it unmute the sound. Possiblities: 1. You have a blown speakers 2. You have a power problem going into your unit. The clock display power is separated on that unit so its seem ok. You need to check the fuse and the continuity of the cord, but todo so u need to open that unit to access the module. Hope this may help you. pls rate me.
