There seem to be no power. Nothing is on. I change the 9 Volt battery and still nothing is on. No radio, No clock. For a Bose clock radio. David Fong

Hi,
Sorry for the late answer to your solution. There was some problem with my account in fixya.
I was not able to post any solution from yesterday as the new site is in development stage as told by the customer care of fixya.

I seen your question. You have to check the power cord of your bose wave radio first. Is there is any loose contact at its socket at the both ends. If its seems ok, Then you have to check the inline fuse inside the wave radio. For that you have to open the wave radio. I am giving you this solution assuming that you are aware of reparing electronic items. If you have some knowledge on fixing electronic items then you can fix it yourself.

Before removing the wave radio remove the power cord from the sockets. There will be 6 screws at the bottom of your wave radio in some models its 8 numbers. After removing the screws turn the radio and pull out the top cover. You can see the inline fuse near the AC input socket where you connect the power cord. Using a multimeter test the contnuity of the fuse. it should show zero ohms. if no, then the fuse is faulty remove the fuse and replace with a new one and power up the radio and check

If there is no other fault the wave radio will work ok. If the fuse blows again then the transformer of your wave radio is faulty. The primary winding of the transformer have some short inside. As it is a custom design the C core transformers are only available through bose service centers. If they are willing to supply the transformers to customers then buy it from them and replace yourself. If not, then you have to give the radio to them to be repeired. If you need any more assistance feel free to conatct me through fixya. The fuse will look like one in the picture.

Hi, My LG Home stereo posibly experienced a small power surge (all clocks in house were blinking) and now has defaulted to some odd functions and will not receive radio stations or transfer sound to the...

This definitely was as a result of a power surge but the type of power surge seems irregular you should report the surge to the authorities.
Then as regards the radio defaulting to odd functions most likely the function which your unit defaulted to are the functions with which the unit was shipped from the factory. Usually the settings just have to be made and your unit is back to normal function the advised settings can be found in your user manual.
If after setting the unit still does not receive radio then the surge must have damaged the FM receiver console inside the unit and this will have to be replaced by an expert.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

Radio controlled clock not working

Pretty simple: Press reset. Clock should reset within 10 minutes.
Manually set by pressing Set and holding for 5 seconds. The hands will turn. Release when they get to the correct time.

Mine quit working after a year and seems to be dead. The movement won't do anything now with a new battery.

How to I change the clock setting for a pioneer car radio deh-2750mp

Turn on the car so the stereo is playing.
Press, and hold for a few seconds the 'SRC' button [Bottom left side of the unit face]. This will turn the radio OFF. The clock may or may not be visable at this time. If it is visable, press the 'CLK' button [top left side of the unit face] to make the clock turn OFF.
The screen should now be blank and dark.
Press the 'AUDIO' button [Top Right side of the unit face] and hold for a few seconds. This will open the functions menu. The clock setting should be first in the list. Use the arrow keys to set time and toggle between the hour and minutes.
By sequentially pressing the 'AUDIO' button, you can also set the tuning scans from 100 to 50 kHz in FM or from some other scans in AM, but there is really no need to do this.
