I need a recovery disk for a HP Compaq D51sp2.4

You need the disks from HP the model you have is a EVO d510 SFF you will need the configuration tag number and the serial number. 1-800-227-8164 If they aren't available from HP try a third party by googling d510 recovery disks there may be some third party suppliers for them. The third party are usually a little more expensive.

I want to download drivers for my desktop pc which's serial number is CNX922OHJ3 and model number is CQ2200ix

This is HP Support > Compaq CQ2200ix desktop computer > Software & Driver Downloads > Select your operating system,

To the right of the box with - Select, in it, left-click on the blue down arrow.
Left-click on the operating system that is on your computer.
Now left-click on Next.

Appreciate your wanting to give all information, you deemed would be needed.
You are to be commended.

Word to the wise though, is to Never give out the Serial Number of your computer.

Unscrupulous people could find out personal information about you, with the serial number.

I will have it removed from your post.

Hp compaq d350 sff processors compatibility

Your best bet is to work from the existing processor model number, since manufacturers can change the motherboard in a given model of computer from one range of serial numbers to the next. They sometimes also offer the same model of computer with different processors and motherboards at different prices. So you can not tell much from the model number of the computer.

May I also advise you that changing a processor requires a little special procedures, equipment, and knowledge these days. It is not just unplug one and plug in the other any more. If you do not know what you are doing you could easily "fry" the new processor from excessive heat, due to incorrect installation. So look for some help if you are not sure of the details for replacing a processor chip. It's not hard, just that some things that may not be obvious are critical.

Motherboard drivers

This is, (HP bought out Compaq)

On this page you'll see -> for product: <- and a box to the right of it.
Type -> Compaq, and the model name and model number, in this box.
For example: Compaq Presario SR4417N
Presario is the -> Model Name
SR4417N is the -> Model Number.

(SR4417N is Not a real number. Just one I made up for an example)

You need ->THE model name and model number. IF, you download the wrong drivers, your computer will not work!

Should you not know where this information is located, this page clearly shows you with photos. It may be in one of three places,

Once you type Compaq Presario, and the Model Number, in the -> for product: <- box, go to the right of the box, and left-click on the double down arrows.

You will now be taken to the main page for your Compaq Presario desktop computer.
On this page you will see the heading -> Software & Driver downloads. It's in blue. Click on this. There are your drivers.

I have a compaq mouse mn:m-sbn96 rating5v---25mA HP Pin:5188-8925 Rev.A PID:HS741140406, these are the numbers on back of the mouse. it's a wired mouse but i don't know what parts of the computer is...

The Mouse will plug into a serial ( com port ) if it's an older serial mouse.

( You'll want to put the mouse on serial port 2 )
/ in case you have an internal modem sitting on com 1 or 3 and taking up IRQ4 which would conflict with the mouse /
/ or in case of modem being on come 2 or 4 and using IRQ3 , just move the mouse over to com 1 /

Or the green colored PS/2 port if it's a PS/2 type mouse.

Thank you for using FixYa!
