You can get around this however it's not to easy. You would have to take the unit apart and locate the BIOS chip, this chip needs to pulled out, aswell as removing the CR2032 battery which stores time and date on the computer. Leave both of these removed for a few minutes and re-install. This should wipe the password out. Like I said though it's not something that's easily done. Good Luck Hope this helps. L8R

It probably needs to have the d/c jack on the motherboard replaced. Not tough to do, but would suggest you having a techie do it for you. I do it all the time for $60us + parts.

Al have you tried the appliancefactoryparts.com site to locate the parts you need, at that site you only need the make and model to access the parts list
