Wen I set stations on the radio they are not remembered wen the engine is turned off. I10 60 plate. Radio pa710rds

You need to make sure the yellow wire is going to a constant power source. That is a source that still has 12v going to it when the key is turned off. The yellow wire controls the memory for the clock and preset stations.

How do you se a radio station and preset it on a 2011 elantra. We have preset stations but every time we stop the car the stations are not preset, we have to do it over again.

Did you put an aftermarket radio in the car? If so, it sounds like the yellow wire is not going to a constant power source. The yellow wire needs to go to a source that still has 12v when the key is turned off to retain memory for the clock and presets.

Cant set stations

I'm assuming you mean programming the radio stations onto the 1,2,3,4 etc buttons on your radio.
If so, tune to the station manually, then hold the button you'd like it assigned to until your radio beeps.

I have a panasonic car radio but when you preset your stations they work but then when you turn engine off for a few minutes they are lost cant figure it out drivin me mad

The red wire should be connected to the ignition/start system.Yellow wire should be connected straight to direct battery power(constant it's called). If the yellow wire is not hooked up to that, you will always lose your presets and clock when you turn off the car.Did you install it?If you need some info to do it,I will need the make/model of your car please.Just comment here and I will get an autolink to your post.Good luck! I installed my JVC KD-SX650 and it works but when i turn my truck off it loses the radio station and clock settings, what could be the problem?

There should be a yellow "accessories" wire that controls the memory to the radio. If it is not properly hooked up, the radio will reset every time you turn off the ignition.

NOTE: It might be a different color than yellow, but this is the most common
