Hi, When I Skype others I can always see them. Sometimes they can't see me. I have confirmed I am sending the video, so I am not sure why this happens periodically. Does it have something to do with my internet connection or broadband traffic?
Many Thanks, Scott

I don't think its your webcam that is at fault. I think it's already in skype. I have the same Lenovo model and there are times skype doesn't transmit video. So, I usually do is turn on and turn off the skype video call for the video to reappear. Can you do the following:
1) Make sure you have adequate lighting. Sometimes if you are in a dark room, skype will also transmit black videos to the other end.
2) Have you checked the video settings in skype? Go to Tools->Options. Click video settings. Click webcam settings and try to tweak your video from there.
Hi. Currently, this phone does not support Skype but you can use an alternate application such as Nimbuz. It can handle multiple chat clients like Yahoo, ICQ, Skype and others. This phone does not have a wireless LAN and it is expensive to use skype over data plan. You may want to consider other phone with wireless capability if you want to use skype.
when you use cam in skype that time confirm your self that your not log in yahoomessenger, msn or other video chat. Becose if your cam working in any other messenger or site that time you can access your cam in skype. On that moment Skype cam window show you grey color. And another reason is Skype looking for little bit good speed net connection. If your net little bit slow then also you find your cam window is Grey. Just follow the way, hope you het success.
The performance of Skype is affected by the bandwidth available from your ISP. The video image your are sending and receiving occupy a large part of the information transmitted over the Internet, therefore make sure the video image setting is at a resolution of 320X240 (e-mail size) and if this is still affecting the audio quality to the other person (ie. the voice breaks up) and the video image then switch the video camera off and if sound and video image from the other party is also affecting you, then also get them to switch off their video camera.
Also check the Video and Microphone settings in Skype - Tools - Options etc. Check the correct video camera and microphone has been selected.
