Question about Canon PIXMA iP90 Mobile Printer

1 Answer

IP90 rigor mortis?

Does this printer sound dead? The light blinks on & off between green and orange. A few days ago, whenever I sent a print command, it make a kind of rattling noise and didn't print. Now I don't get the noise, just a message saying "A problem has occurred with the printer mechanism. Cancel printing and turn off the computer." The turn-it-off-for-a-while cure doesn't work. Is there any hope for this printer, or is it time to dig out my credit card and go to the store?
Thanks!

I can not get my printer to print. The yellow and green lights continue to flash. My printer is a canon ip90

hello, if you count the number of blinks green-orange=1, the amount of blinks will give the error, or where to look, normally 5 blinks will be printhead, 7 will be waste pak will need replacement, there are a few more, but these are the common ones, if you can find a printer repair place, they should be able to work on these, they are somewhat simple.

If it still comes up with this error there might be some paper down near the print heads. If there is no paper there, you might have an actual hardware issue.

Green light blinks twice, sayus "User Intervention Required"

Two blinks just says you need paper, If paper is not going through, you will need repairs to the print engine. If the orange light is also blinking you need to count the blinks to know what's wrong.
