Problem for Vivitar Digital Cameras

Generic problem for all Vivitar Digital Cameras

Damaged port for connection to computer

I tried to connect the camera to the computer but hand slipped putting the connection into the camera and has damaged the connection pins and cannot connect and the camera will not even work at all now. Is there any other way to get the photos off the internal memory.
