My problem is to remove the genuine software from my computer because no backrounds are showing in my desktop

The "Windows Genuine Advantage" software on your computer has discovered that you are using a "counterfeit" version of Windows XP.

So, if you bought the computer from a computer-store, and they installed Windows, you can report them to Microsoft: call 1-800-R-U-LEGIT to report them as "software pirates".

Or, see: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/
for information on how to convert your copy into a "genuine" copy of Microsoft Windows.

Or, buy a retail copy of "Windows 7 Upgrade", and upgrade your Operating System from XP to the latest version.

Windows genuine advantage

I am afraid not.

If it a geuine copy Microsoft can help with any issues regarding activation.

They are not awful people to deal with and I have transfered my copy of windows to many computers without issue.

My computer is showing black screen on window

That is Microsoft's "Windows Genuine Advantage" tool telling you that you have an illegal copy of Windows. You have a couple ways to fix this.
1. Pay Microsoft for a new product key.
2. Remove the Windows Genuine Advantage tool.
3. Contact Microsoft and participate in their Genuine Microsoft Software program.

Remove in my pc genuine software

i'm guessing you want to remove the Windows Genuine Advantage Notifications.... if this is the case you need to visit this page on the Microsoft site:

How to disable or uninstall the pilot version of Microsoft Windows Genuine Advantage Notifications for Windows XP

i saved the file as 'disable stupid star' but it's a bit long and complicated to post the entire thing here.

you should READ through the whole thing before DOING anything as it is complicated and involves going into the registry... be very careful about what you mess with in there!

it does work, i've done it on a few computers, but take your time and be sure you have the version that is specified, if not, there should be another article in the Microsoft site that applies to your problem.

hope that helps.

do you have a legal copy of windows?
WGA means windows genuine advantage, it is a verification of authenticity app.
If not done it will cripple many functions.
If your copy is legal, let it run and your woes should be solved,,,,, if not let me know.
