Your recovery disk should have came with your PC
But i disagree with what Pc world told you because your problems sounds like hardware and a recovery cd is not going to help. Check your pcu cords are attached. and tell me if the Cd drive opens

Recovery disk, is a disk from your computer manufacturer it is to recover the computer to manufacture settings.

then click on the link Restore the PC to its original condition with the HP Recovery Manager from within Windows Vista
