I need a sound driver

My windows 2000, xp, has crashed due to virus attack.when i re-installed, th audio for my computer no longer works.

No sound on my computer

The abscence of sound is due to a missing or a corrupt driver for sound. Drivers become corrupt due to a virus attack or accidently deleting a driver file. To repair this you have to reinstall the drivers and restart your computer.

When the virus are attacked my P.C. then i change my software(windowsxp).so my sound system are damage.i want hear my songs.

It's not virus. I think your Audio Driver got error. Try reinstall driver for your audio device and it will work again!

yes, you need to install a special, Aspire One version of XP. This is a driver issue generally. You must either use the install DVD from Acer or get a specially made version with all necessary drivers built in. Format the Drive and reinstall windows. from that media.

Lost of media player volume after formatted due to virus attack.

check if the sound card is properly installed.
to check:
- go to start, point to computer, click manage, then click device manager. if there's a yellow sign on your audio, you need to install your audio driver

1. check the plag point &conection of the speaker to ur pc.check & instold the media controlar devices from proper sound device driver from your mather broad driver cd.after complition of the diver re start ur pc.it will be solved. thanks.
