Question about Fujitsu ScanSnap Manager
Originally, I was able to successfully install all of the software bundled with ScanSnap. I absolutely fell in love with the machine. Then at some point I started getting an error message whenever I pressed the green "scan" button: "Failed to initialize the sRGB engine. Please reinstall ScanSnap manager." I have not been able to successfully use the ScanSnap since then. I have uninstalled and re-installed the 5 pieces of software that are bundled with the ScanSnap several times since then, but each time I get the same error message. I contacted the company and they gave me a "clean" utility for uninstalling ScanSnap manager, but that didn't make a difference. I also tried deleting the folders that get left behind after uninstallation as suggested by TMRI. I also went into the registry to delete the "PFU" settings. I am very discouraged -- I desperately want to get this machine worked otherwise it's a very expensive piece of junk. I would be very grateful for any help!
