Orignal nintendo DS Best friends Nintendog pack. Bought in 2006. My brother was playing it last year and it suddenly turned off. We put it onto charge and it showed it was charging but whenyou turn it on screen flickers, makes noise and goes black then it flashes white and makes noise agian until you turn it off. Nintendo thought it was bettery, just bought new battery and it didn't fix it. Any other ideas?

Thanks, we have thought about that, but if the repairs cost much we might have well have bought a new one, that is why we are avoiding sending it away

Hi - we bought a Nintendo DS lite for our kids about a year ago. Suddenly none of the game paks work. My husband has tried cleaning with a cloth and has inspected the connectors but no luck. Is this DS...

You could take it to a repair shop and see what the people there can do to help you. I have had the same problem, try testing the games on a friends DS. If they still don't work, then you know that it is the game, if the game does work, then it is the DS itself. If your kids have dropped them in anything, if they have spilled something on them, or if they eat and play the DS at the same time, thatcould be the problem too.

Hope it helps~

First, it depends on what game it is, NOT ALL GAMES have a DS Download feature.

If you are using a game with the DS Download feature, have the host DS set up the game, this would just be going through the multiplayer then DS Download function.

Next, make sure you both are in the same area (10 or so feet), basically if you can be in the DS Chat with your Local Wireless Connection, you can use your DS Download feature.

While the host DS is sending the signal, the other DS will have a feature in the main DS menu (If you have auto-start on, hold start while starting up the DS and going past the warning screen), it will be called DS Download Play.

Have the person receiving the signal click that option and their DS will search for any games being sent in the general area. Then all the person with the receiving DS has to do is click the icon and he/she will connect with the hosting DS.

The receiving DS will not keep the game on the hardrive on the DS, but he/she will be able to play with you; your best bet however is to get a second cartridge, but that part is your call.

Nintendo DS message... "Unable to load data. Turn the power off and resinsert the Game Card."

Well maybe when you turn it on, it might be on manual mode. To switch it to auto mode, Press options then press the wrench and then find auto or manual mode and then, switch it to auto mode. Save the options and then it should play the game. If it doesn't work, blow into the DS game and then the DS game slot.
