Can't remember how to unlock


First of all put the device for full charge and repeat affer discharging since you have not used it for some time which is not good for the battery within. If the battery picks up charge, then you in luck. So keep this process on. I hope My advice is helpful. Good day

My rca lyra keeps turning on and off and when i hit the play button it shuts off and turns it self back on It turns on and starts to play but will shut off or if you try to go to the next song it shuts...


How old is the Lyra, sounds like the battery isn't charging or is in need of replacement...

you must insert your mp3 into your usb port then click on My Computer icon, right click on mp3 drive and click format disk, this will resolve this problem.

your battery is broken you must buy new battery (very good battery is 2200 mAh because battery install in your iriver is 1350 mAh)

Hey Do the recovery Turn ur mp3 off lock it and hold rec and on it wiil have u plug in the usb cord and leave it there for 5 min And unlock then it will turn back on its self

i'm having the same exact problem, don't take out the battery bacause if you do, well mine did, it won't turn on at all

MP3 Player problems


I'm not certain what the problem is but it sounds like you might be able to fix it by updating the firmware. I'm guessing that it is an Ilo product. Lenoxx produces Ilo mp3's and you can get information from their site as to how to update. If it isn't there search for firmware and the player name. Good luck.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard
