The iPod will stop itself from charging when the battery is full, and will not overcharge. I'm pretty sure you can't disconnect the power to the iPod (would stop it from charging) and still use the Audio to your stereo.

I have a car stereo purchased from the US and I can’t pick up all radio stations in Europe/UK, what can I do?
If you have purchased a car stereo from the US you will find that it will not pick up many European radio stations. This is due to the fact that US radio frequency steps are different to here in Europe.
You may be able to set the tuner to European stations by following this procedure.
Press and hold down the SRC button to power down the unit completely.
While the unit is off press button 1 & 5 together, while momentarily pressing the SRC button.
If this does not work try the following proceedure;
Press and hold buttons 1 and 5 together, while momentarily pressing the reset button.
If this does not work then the unit is not designed to pick up European frequency steps.

I kenwood TK-2000 radios. when I read the radio, all the frequencies listed are vhf frequencies.but when I program a vhf frequency it says it is out of band it can only accept 400 to 440 mhz. This goes for...

Based on the information you provided, it seems like the Kenwood TK-2000 radios you have may have been programmed with the wrong band split. The TK-2000 is available in both VHF and UHF frequency ranges, and it's possible that the radios you have are actually UHF models, despite being listed as VHF frequencies when you read the radios.
To check if your radios are UHF or VHF, look for a label on the back of the radio that specifies the frequency range. If it says UHF, then the radios can only accept frequencies in the 400-440 MHz range. If it says VHF, then the radios should be able to accept frequencies in the VHF frequency range.
If you've confirmed that the radios are indeed VHF models, then it's possible that the band split settings may need to be adjusted in the programming software to match the specific VHF frequencies you're trying to program. I recommend checking the manual for your programming software to ensure that you have selected the correct band split settings before programming the radios. If you're still having issues, it may be helpful to contact Kenwood customer support for further assistance.

How to input extra audio line for kenwood dpx-410

If it's got bluetooth, you can buy a little aux to bluetooth 3.0 off ebay.
If not it looks like a cassette tape adaptor is worth a shot.
If either one of those don't work fm transmitter is an option, I would stay away from those little ones you plug inot the 12v. Good ones can run you a 50+ and the work in some cars and not others. I would find one that Y's into the antanna at the back of the raido.

Kenwood dpx manual

I dunno if the manual will help you with not being able to tune the radio past 90.0 on the FM dial, but here is a link: http://www.manual-buddy.com/p/kenwood/dpx5200m-user-manual.html I apologize for not being able to find a freebie copy. Is probably out there on the interwebs somewhere, but I can't find it today.

When electronics screw up like that, it is very likely they are simply shot. Broken. Munched. Kaboodled. History. Maybe use the $5 USD they want for that user manual to buy gas to drive to WalMart and buy a new one.

THE BUTTONS ARE LOCKED CANNOT UP AND DOWN BUTTONS, CANNOT CHANGE THE FREQUENCY

Try resetting your unit (look for a pin size button hidden on the front panel, or behind the panel).

If this does not rectify, then your faceplate (or connection to the main unit) may be defective.
