How to remove blade?

If the blade is stuck on then there is likely damage to the hole inside the blade and the shaft sleeve it fits on to so you should expect to replace both or it's going to happen again and again. Brute force is going to be the answer. I have a chain that I wrap around the blade shaft where it goes onto the motor sleeve. Sometimes I secure it with a shackle or radiator hose clip then attach the other end of my chain to my workbench and accelerate the processor motor assembly away. Chain goes tight, big thump and blade flies off.

My food processor blade keeps popping up (loose) when I put food into it.

You will probably need to replace the sleeve on the motor shaft and the blade. If overloaded the shaft can spin inside the blade which wrecks the connection between them. Replacing both together is the correct solution.

This is an inquiry about Waring food processor model FP510; SN# 11FP10. I need a new driver (the thing with a hex head that fits over the axle or drive shaft (one side of the axle is flat) of the electric...

I broke mine too, but luckily I found an extra machine at a thrift store. The driver was missing (of course), but I cut the blades off (hacksaw, easy) and used the resulting shaft as a driver. It works well: better and tougher than the original! Though they are expensive, you can order a new set of blades and do the same thing with the blades you have now. -Paul

Am I missing a part

I overlooked this too. Set into the foam packing material is a stem made just for the shredding disk. It's about 4" long and also has a hex shaft. This hex is just slightly smaller than the hex on the other shaft the drives the blades. The dough hook - Remove the blade assembly and put the dough hook in its place.

Cuisinart DLC-8 Plus Motor Shaft Cover broken.

I had the same problem: Cuisinart sent a "replacement" sheath for my DLC-8E which turned out to be the wrong one. When I replaced mine, which was cracked, none of my blades would fit over the new sheath! I "solved" the problem by purchasing a new DLC-8E motor base on Ebay for only $9.99!

Yes, it is the S-blade. I can't find my manual either and I have been trying to figure out how to get it onto the shaft!! The Hamilton Beach website says it should slip down the shaft once the bowl is attached, but I have a white piece on top of the metal I can not remove and the s-blade will not slip over it.
