My 52 inch 1080 mitisubishi digital tv just went out I recieved it as a gift it was on for two days and i was trying to set channels and instead i locked the front panel tv went out, friend said she no longer have the manual for the tv to reset the code, i bought a universal remote but it's still not coming on plug it up and green light come on and under the on and off button it states timer, gives to blinks and never come onh

Screen went blank while still on. unplugged power cord and when I plugged it back in the power on light went green. Problem remains


Resolution:

Follow the steps below to troubleshoot this issue.


Verify that the AC power cord is connected securely to a working wall outlet.
Unplug the power cord of the television from the AC outlet.
Let the television remain without power for 1 minute.
Plug the power cord back into the AC outlet.
Attempt to turn on the television.
NOTES:

If the issue is still unresolved after completing all of the troubleshooting steps, service will be required.
Make a note of the STANDBY or TIMER flash pattern when referring the television to service.

Why won't my TV turn back on even manually??


total dead usually means the fuse---unplug the set for safety and remove back cover---follow power cord just inside and you will find the fuse in a snap in holder--check to see if bad.............if good let me know and I will try to assist you.

Rca d52w19 convergence hell


Did you replace the convergence board or the convergence power supply board? usually one color will be a problem with the convergence board and more than one color means the convergence power supply is the problem. Ebay isnt a good place for boards as you never know if the board is good. You can get the convergence or the convergence power supply boards at the following link along with free shipping and tech support.

To Fix TV: Press Menu then 1-7-3-0.
Make sure Initial is highlighted in yellow and press Enter.
To get additional input channels:
Press Menu/SetUp/AV Connection/Locked to Input 1: Should be on NO.
