Right from the user's manual troubleshoot section:
Disc won’t eject • Turn off the unit.
• Unplug the Acoustimass module power cord from the outlet for one minute, then reconnect
it. This allows the unit to reset itself.
• Before powering on, press and hold Eject on the media center.
Just worked for me. Good Luck!!! Right from the user's manual troubleshoot section:

Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet and turn the player ON. Attempt to open the disc tray. Depending on the model number of your DVD player, simultaneously press the POWER + STOP + EJECT buttons. If the disc tray still does not open, simultaneously press the DISC1 + STOP + EJECT buttons.6 Jan 2013
The CD, DVD or BD drive tray may not open when trying to eject a disc. This can occur if there is a mechanical failure, or if there is a disk stuck in the drive. Please follow the following steps to resolve this issue:
Because some applications can prevent the drive tray from opening, close all open applications.
Restart the computer to the BIOS by continuously tapping the F2 key on startup and, while in the computer BIOS, press the EJECT button on the computer.
My only suggestion is to press and hold the eject button for a period of time (15 - 30 seconds). This might unlock the drawer. If not, I would contact Bose Customer Service directly.
The tray orientation may have gotten messed up. Try opening the player and then unplugging it, closing the tray with the unit powered off and then turning it back on.
Try unpluging unit, then plug back in and press open/eject.Also look for a tiny hole on front door used to insert paperclip end, push in this will open tray.
I took a stake knife from the kitchen and pried open the tray door as I hit the eject button this got it to open, I then cycled eject and close, eject close a few times and this did the trick, I even played a DVD and that worked fine also. I had the problem with the tray not opening, and the display would read OPEN when I hit eject and I could hear it trying to open. So I wanted to make sure the tray wasn't just stuck or wedged before I took the system apart and looked for sripped out plastic gears or the belt being broken. GoodLuck [email protected]
I too had a similar problem with my DHC FL7D. The front moving panel would not move up. The screen used to say 'please wait' endlessly whenever I pressed the DVD button. I thought the drive belt might have got cut. There is a drive belt for the front panel to move upwards and downwards. Since that was intact, I disconnected the front panel from the main body to access the DVD drive system. I had to disconnect many cables and PCBs to do so. Then I opened the DVD compartment and removed all the DVDs which were stuck and re-alligned all the disc trays to its original state. I checked if all the drive belts inside the DVD compartment, it was ok. Also I tried moving the laser lens assembly to check if it was moving. Since there was no problem I closed the system.
After I switched on it worked again . I think it might be to do with the fact that the disc trays might have been stuck for some reason or may be the there was a software glitch.
