Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
I recently had my hp laptop sent in for repair and when it came back everything has been cleared out. the problem is now the display seems really stretched wide. especially when i look at pictures. they are all stretched wide instead of looking normal. i tried going to display settings and fixing it, but i can't, can anyone help? PS i have windows vista
My name is Mark and I will be glad to assist you. It sounds like they have un-installed the video driver, this can be rectified by going to Hp.com/support and go to your model number. From there I suggest you download all the drivers for your model. It is possible they have not installed all the drivers associated with that model this is a safeguard. When you download the drivers save them to your documents file then open them all when you finish the downloads. Let me know if you need further assistance.
Be mucho blessed,

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
