Question about Samsung BD-P1000
Let me preface by saying I am a computer tech so this is REALLY bugging me! :)
I ran the firmware upate per the instructions and it hung during the last part. I left it that way for several hours ot make sure I gave it a fair chance. Now the tray will not open or close. When it was closed, the display would read eject but nothing happened. I opened it up, removed the disc, still nothing. I turned the wheel to manually eject the tray, put it back together and turned it on. The display reads "loading" so it knows where the tray is, but nothing moves. I verified that the belt is fine and works. There was no issues before the firmware update and of course it is out of warranty. I do not see any CMOS jumpers or dip switches. If someone could tell me how to reset this I would really appreciate it. Thanks guys and gals!

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

If you have a LAN line, you can hook it into your player. Then just go into the user menu and find Updates and it will take care of it for you.
