This is the error code for the waste toner. Mostly the toner auger is jammed and twisted up. This will have to replaced and any other damaged parts replaced. Several assemblies will have to be removed to get to this assembly. Bset done by a qualified tech. Best of luck.

I believe a E013 error code means that the waste toner feed screw is packed with toner and can not turn the feed screw. From what I remember, there is a switch on the drive gears for the waste toner on the back ofthe copier. It is not a Happy, happy,joy,joy job...... You will need to clear out the feed screw & empty out the waste toner bottle and possibly cln out the drum unit... Toner is packed there as well...... Good Luck

The problem code E013 means that your waste toner container is full and it's time to empty it out. This is usually a copier tech job but It's not hard. I'll tell you what's involved and you can choose to hire a guy or do it yourself. The only tool you will need is a Phillips #2 screwdriver. When standing in front of your copier there is a panel on the right side of your machine that is held on with 2 screws which is hiding the waste toner container, simply remove the panel and pull the container out and empty it into a garbage bag and re-insert this container back into the copier. This panel that you are looking for with the 2 screws is about 5 inches by 16 inches (or so...). Repost if the code does not go away after this, sometimes there are complications with this code.

E013 usually means the waste toner bottle is full. Or it can mean the toner auger is clogged with toner and tripping the safety switch, in which case you'll have to remove the auger and knock out all the clogged toner. Sometimes sticking the end of a vacuum cleaner into the metal tube will **** out the toner, but not all the time. It's messy. Good luck.

E013 refers to the waste toner receptical being full, but in this case the toner melts at the end of the worm screw assembly causing the cleaning unit to block up, activating the microswitch which tells the machine the waste toner bottle is full. The solution is to try to free up the worm screw assembly, failing that, replacement of the drum cleaning assembly.
