Tried holding down buttons to clear and set the temp. It will take the temp but then continues to flash the AO5 and you also hear a clicking sound. Fan never comes on and display does not clear out.

According to the call line, hold down the up, down and enter at the same time to clear it. I traded mine in before trying this so I am not sure if it works or not.

The thermostat may be fried inside. Try having it replaced at a Electronics store like Radio Shack or a YouTube tutorial video may provide you with the process of replacing the thermostat. The part should be fairly cheap.

Won't heat my studio - even on "HIGH"

Does it get hot? If so, that is all you will get! It is not made to heat a room of 20 X 15 X 8 feet high. That is 2400 cubic feet of air space that may or may not be insulated. You need a quartz heater or two that are designed with fans to heat larger areas (see the specifications on them). The oil filled radiator is to put next to your rocking chair or under your desk near your feet!

I have a Comfort Zone CZ1500W showing an AO5 error code. I have 9 ohms across each element. The fan thermostat reads open. When I bypass it the fan runs, but no heat. The element thermostat reads

Everytime I turn on the CZ heater, the display reads A05 and then it goes away when i set the temp. As far as I can see and feel, I'm not experiencing any issues with the heating, fan, or thermostat or the extension cord running hot. I'm concerned that something could be wrong or unsafe, with Comfort Zone filing for Chapter 7, anyone know who is offering support or a number I can contact?

My comfort zone infrared hearter has a display message of A05 and will not run, what does that mean? How can I fix it?

Hi. I have the Comfort zone 1500 (cz 1500) and just ran into this AO5 problem. Turns out the thermostat was set lower than the actual room temperature. I just turned up the heater temp and it kicked right on. Hope this helps!

Comfortzone display ''dofl''

According to the call line you have to hit the up, down and enter buttons at one time. Did not try this as I returned mine before I got an answer. No problem with the new one!
