The F3 code means that the temperature sensor in the oven is not giving the signal to the oven control. This could be the result of a problem with the wiring or the wire harness between the control board and the sensor or indicate that the sensor itself has failed.

To identify the correct parts, you need to provide your oven model number. Try here: http://www.partselect.com/Magic-Chef-Parts.htm . There are other sources for parts.

I hope this helps. If you add a comment with the model number, I'll be glad to give you more specific information for your wall oven.

My oven will not stop beeping F 1. It's a Magic Chef wall oven. Electric

Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. Error code F1 means failed thermistor/transistor in control. To resolve this issue you'll have to replace the Electronic range control (ERC). Please rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Magic Chef oven displays F3 everytime the bake or broil button is pushed. Not sure what the model # is. Electrical range.

this could be a an open probe or shorted probe connection.you need to check your temp probe harness to your main board.
there is a chance that you need to replace your temp probe.
last thing would be to replace the EOC

I have a majic chef oven, when i turn it on it beeps and flashes

Self clean on some older models can cause some issues. F-3 is a sensor error. This could have been damaged by high heat or in some cases if the sensor is ok, the control doesn't know it's there.

F2 and F3 code appearing along with annoying beeping

i think f3 error code has something to do with the temp probe maybe it is the problem. the temp probe is located if you open the door directly in the back wall. it looks like a prong. should read 1100ohms the f2 error code though usually has something to do with the keypad i would check all the connections maybe they are loose.

Wont Heat at all

sounds like you have a bad wire connection someplace in the oven.
