Question about Apple iPod nano
My nephew was thrown into a stock tank by his friends, he had his ipod in his pocket...
also did not work. I brought it home left in my car on the floorboard, for 2 very hot days.
Then remembered it was still in the car... not sure if the heat from the sun helped, but couldn't hurt
Brought it inside noticed the charger plug-in area had built up corrosion, carefully cleaned it with a dry swab, thin rag, and made sure all the plating was free of corrosion... earphone input, etc
then I held down the play button (top) + select (middle) button till the apple appeared on the screen.
p.s. it's been awhile, it may also be the stop and play or stop and select. if at first you don't succeed, you know the rest. trying all of these options should not harm the ipod... proceed with caution.
Long story, short. It is still working today.
