SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to connect your dvd to tv

This is for those who are struggling to connect rca cables to tv. Cables are normally color coded, yellow is for video (out from dvd snd in to the tv). Red and black sometimes white is for audio (left and right). Same thing here out from dvd in to the tv.

LG GH22NS70 Super multi DVD Rewriter just used

Power cable attached, interface cable attached, (Dta cable), and the small audio cable attached, plus computer on, and Windows loaded.

Windows XP:
1) Click on Start

2) Right-click on My Computer

3) Left-click on Properties at the bottom of the list

4) Left-click on the Hardware tab

5) Left-click on Device Manager

6) When Device Manager loads, left-click on the + sign to the left of - DVD/CD-ROM drives

7) Right-click on the name of the optical drive.

8) Left-click on Uninstall

A Microsoft 'squawk box' will come up,
"Warning you are about to uninstall this device"
It's okay. Click on OK.

Close all windows, go back to your desktop screen.
Turn the computer off normally. (Start > Turn Off Computer > Turn Off)

Wait 1 minute. Turn the computer back on.
You should get a pop-up out of the system tray, "Found new hardware", and perhaps another one will follow, "Found XXXX DVD drive"

No? Doesn't work?
Try using another 4-pin standard Peripheral power cable.

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#peripheral

(The IDE harddrive shown, is just an example of a device that uses a 4-pin standard Peripheral power cable. Mistakenly referred to as a 'Molex' power cable)

Make sure the interface cable (Data cable) is plugged in tightly.

My television shows clears it just that there is no sound coming out. What is the problem?

  1. Isolate the problem. The main troubles that will crop up with a TV set are either no picture, no sound or both.
  2. Check the input setting on your remote control. If you have other devices connected to the TVCheck the power. Don't be embarrassed if your problem is as simple as an unplugged power cord. It's better that you should discover this than pay a repair technician to come out to your house and find out.
, such as a video game system, those devices must be used with a different input setting than the input you use for watching programs or movies on a DVD or Blu-Ray player. Chances are, the kids were playing a game and forgot to turn the input back the way it was.
  3. Press the Input button on your remote control to return to the setting you wish to use. For example, the cable box might be connected to Input 1 and your DVD player might be connected to Input 2. Newer television sets have at least 3 inputs.
  4. Check the coaxial connection from your cable or satellite receiver to the television. The cable should be attached securely by twisting the round lock nut clockwise. Also check the power connections for the satellite or cable receiver. If either is unplugged, you won't receive a programming signal on the TV.
  5. Make sure the video cable is securely attached to the TV jack if you have a home theater system. The video cable runs from the Video Out jack on your home theater receiver to the Video In jack on the back of your TV.
  6. Check your receiver setting. Home theater receivers manage several components, so if you have the receiver set to operate the CD player but you are trying to watch a movie on your Blu-Ray player, you'll need to change the selection to Blu-Ray to watch the movie on your TV.
  7. Check the TV speakers to see whether they have been muted by accident. Press the volume button on your remote control or go to the Menu section and scroll down until you reach TV Speakers. Toggle left or right to turn the speakers on or off.
  8. Press the speaker button on your receiver to make sure your external home theater speakers are activated. Many home theater systems use external for their superior audio rather than the speakers inside a television.

There is no power to the dvd player under pass seat and there is a dvd inside and screen says no dvd

hi..

hi please check the power cable goin to DVD player.
if the power cable is in place then there is the problem with the cable may be there is a loose connection in it. try changing the new cable and check weather it is working.

DVD player saying NO DVD. this is because you might have inserted the file format which wil not be supported by that particular player. if you have placed a correct format dvd then problem is with the dvd player. Give it for service
