I have dual AOC i2553ph monitors. One day I came into work and notice one of them had a single vertical white line moving slowly back and forth across the screen that looked like a scan or radar function. I reset the monitor from the OSD and all is well again. Use "Extra > reset" from the OSD on AOC monitors.
Hi, you should get an update for your graphics driver and the Bios update. After the updates for the driver. Do a hard reset. To do a hard reset. We need to shutdown the notebook. Remove the battery. Remove the power cord. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Do not expect the turn on. That would be weird. Actually we are trying to reset something internally. After this. Test if the issue goes away. Hope this helps!
most likely you have a faulty LCD screen, the only option u have is to replaced it or u can use a external LCD screen to act as screen for your laptop. you'll be needing a VGA cable to connect your laptop to any LCD screen available.
Just to reset first before proceed another procedure;
Resetting the TV NOTE: Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time. 1.Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet for 4 - 6 hours. 2.Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...) 3.Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds. 4.Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV. 5.Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again. 6.Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices. 7.Turn on the TV.
I have experienced the exact same thing. No dropping the Palm. No moisture. Just turned it on at work and it had the lines. Fortunately the data was still available for a synch. Now I am ordering a complete LCM and digitizer from PDA Smart.com. See http://www.pdasmart.com/palm-tx-repair-parts.htm for the pricing. It isn't cheap, but I believe it will fix the problem.
Let me know what solution you came up with and how the issue is now.
When it is reset the screen is just a series of vertical lines or just plain white. if it beeps it isone quick beep. It appears to do things when you move the stylist over the screen yet can't go to the main screen. I have followed factory reset (switch off then on), (reset power till screen on then release power), (disconnect power plug from battery to board). NOTHING worked
