Thanks Ash.. But i feel you are not getting my point. I was talking about those blue lights which are a hardware part of ACER Aspire 6920G. When you connect the AC adapter a blue Light turn on on both side of the laptop tail end which is connected to Tuba surrounding sound system. When i disconnect the AC adapter these two lights are turned off althogh the battery charged full. I feel some control should be there to turn these two lights ON.

At battery mode....you cannot turn on the blue lights because the battery is low at that time....due to that it will not turn on the blue at that time....if you want to turn on blue lights during battery mode when you use your laptop in battery mode then the only way is to charge your laptop when your laptop is in battery mode.....there is no other way

Acer Aspire AX3400U2022 blue screen

You may need to roll back system with System Restore. Under Safe Mode (press F8 during boot and choose Safe Mode). Win 7 - Start > Search type System Restore. XP - Is Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Restore. Now choose a date prior to problem. You may have to try a few dates. Uninstall last program(s) that was installed, again in safe mode. To eliminate possible bad RAM. Unplug PC, open case, and remove all RAM. Test one DIMM at time, one slot at a time. Re-install Windows. Clean install works best, but all data will be lost. Lastly you may have other hardware problems. If it does another blue screen after reloading windows, especially with a clean install.

How do I get into safemode on my acer aspire desktop

1 Restart the Acer Aspire netbook by pressing the "power" button on the netbook's keyboard or by pressing the "CTRL," "ALT" and "DEL" keys at the same time. 2 During startup, hold down the "F8" function key immediately when you see the "Acer" splash screen and the option for entering "Setup." 3 Keep pressing the "F8" key until the "Advanced Boot Options" menu appears. If you receive a "keyboard error," restart the Acer Aspire and repeat step 2. 4 Use the arrow keys to navigate to the "Safe Mode" selection on the "Advanced Boot Options" menu. The arrow keys are located on the right-hand side of the Acer Aspire keyboard. 5 Press the "Enter" key to execute the "Safe Mode" selection. The Windows operating system will now start in "Safe Mode" and you can perform a system restore or make needed changes to get your Acer Aspire to boot normally again. Hi, I've had my Acer aspire laptop for a few years now, but I haven't used it for over a year (Because I got a desktop). So when I've come to turn it on today, It won't work. The screen...

Start with pulling the battery and power, then hold the power button in for about 30-40 seconds. Then plug the power back in (still no battery). Try to power up the computer. If it boots, shut it down and put the battery in and try again. If it boots the issue was cleared. If it boots with the power cord but not with the battery added, you have a battery issue.

Hope this helps

Have you by chance downloaded a new Service Pack for Windows?
Try booting into safe mode and doing a System Restore (if possible), if not try taking out your RAM Module(s) and re-seating them (it). If more than one try re-seating each one separately. One bad module could cause erratic behavior.

Windows xp instalation stpos givibg a blue screen in aspire m5640 desktop

Windows Xp installtion give Blue Screen of Death when XP tries to installed devices driver during installation or when the cd is corruptted and cannot be read in graphical mode installation or when the hard drive is corrupted with Bad sector.

Get a new windows XP CD and configure your system BIOS to default setting ( load optimal settings) and configured for IDE drive configuration to compatible mode or disable mode if you are using SATA hard drive.

If problem still occured, get "Bad sector recovery pro" and try to repair the hard disk.If the bad sector are unrecoverable then change the hard drive.

Sometimes, faulty RAM also give blue screen too. Check your RAM too.

Most likely your laptop is going into sleep mode. Lots of them do not like sleep mode if nothing happens when you push the power button try to hold it down for about 5 sec. your computer should power off and then you can start as normal. If this problem persists change the options in your control panel to turn sleep mode off. That should solve it.
