You do not need to reinstall, but instead choose to restore your computer to a restore point (date) where you are certain the program you uninstalled was present on your computer.

In your control panel click on the icon BACKUP and RESTORE CENTER

when open, choose the button RESTORE FILES

Good Luck and Regards

> please close all running programs and reinstall edats security.

Close programs (word-processor, web-browser).
Click Start
Click Control Panel
Click Classic View
Click Add/Remove Programs
Click on EDATS SECURITY (or something approximately that)
Click Remove
Click OK
Shutdown
Restart
Reinstall the software

> catalyst control center is not supported by the friver [?]
> version of your enabled graphics adapter.

ATI (www.ati.com) distributes the "Catalyst" software with their adapter video-cards. So, there is a problem with the "Control Center" component of their software.

> please update your ati graphics,
> or enable your ati adapter using displays manager

First, do you have an add-in video-card in your computer?
If not, then you should not be trying to use the ATI software,
and you should remove it:
* click Start
* click Control Panel
* click Add/Remove Programs
* select the ATI Catalyst software
* click Remove
* restart your computer

Second, if you have added an ATI card, you may need to restart your computer, press DELETE to enter BIOS SETUP, and "disable" the "onboard" video-adapter, or change the video-priority so that the ATI video-card becomes the "primary" video-adapter, and the onboard video-adapter becomes the "secondary" video-adapter.
Then, click Save Changes, and before selecting Exit From Setup,
move the video data-cable from the onboard VGA port to the VGA port on the ATI video-adapter. Then, "blindly", click Exit, and let your computer restart. Then, during the reboot, the ATI software will recognize the new "primary" video-card, and will the software will control the ATI video-hardware.

Sometimes, it helps to have a second computer monitor, and connect one adapter to the "onboard" VGA-port, and the other to the ATI VGA-port, so that you can see video output wherever it is produced.

My computer crashes when the ATI software is loaded. When I uninstall the program the ATI grafics software the computer runs fine.

The ATI software is not compatable.Check your graphics card type then go to the ATI website and get the right drivers/software.

Ati2dvag caught in a loop

These kind of problems can be caused by a number of different things, from software to dodgy ram, PSU etc etc. I'll assume you've already done a virus and adware scan-if not, do it now. If that doesn't work, let's start with the easiest to diagnose and fix-the device driver itself. Download the latest version of the Ati catalyst driver from Ati. Uninstall the existing driver(Assuming you're using Windows XP, Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs, then find the Ati graphics driver on the list and remove it), remove the grapics cards entries from Device Manager(Start>Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager, then click the cross next to "Display Adaptors", right click and choose "uninstall"), and reboot into safe mode (tap F8 at POST screen). Run drivercleaner in safe mode (you can download it from here): http://www.driverheavendownloads.net/ then reboot, cancel the "Found New Hardware Wizard" which pops up when you restart windows, and run the new driver installation program.
