I found 2 things .. The first one is from Nintendo & the 2nd is not from Nintendo but tells you step by step to fix it.
1. Some users have been able to solve this problem by resetting the system.
To do so, hold down every button while the system is on except the
D-Pad and power buttons. Otherwise if the problem continues you'll
likely need to send in your system for repair. To setup a repair, call
Nintendo's Consumer Service Department at 1-800-255-3700 from the hours
of 6am - 7pm, Pacific Time, 7 days a week.
That means the firmware is corrupted. You can contact nintendo for repair or replacement. Also in case they ask they are probably zeros (0000FE00). Good luck.
Press and hold the POWER
button to turn the system off
Please refer to the Nintendo DSi
operations manual for details. if you have an r4i card or similar you will have to update it online, download etc.
Hi Sam Lee.Now , does the machine drain the water? If it does drain the water does it stop and beep and show an error code?if it does the error code will be a series of lights that will light up when the machine is beeping. They will be on a row of 8 lights.Starting from left to right which lights are lit when the machine beeps,Is it the 2nd and 4th or the 3rd and 7th ---etc---?Please reply with additional information on the questions and I am sure I can help you.Looking forward to your reply.
The old R4 cards for the DS do not work in the DSi due to different firmware. You will need an R4DSi. Legal Disclaimer :- Please do not use R4 cards for playing illegaly downloaded computer games :)
I am having the same problem with my daughter's. I had to return the first one because of that code.. and now the second one has it too. I am out of the 90 day return policy period though. In my opinion, these things weren't quite ready to hit the shelves when they did.
