PlanPlus Constantly Crashes Outlook

Hello,

I have Franklin Covey's Plan Plus (version 5.0) installed on Microsoft Outlook (2003). I have had occasional crashes from the 'get go'. Recently, Plan Plus crashed Outlook and I can no longer even get the Plan Plus menu bar to show up in Outlook. Also, I can't get to the Plan Plus view any other way.

I have tried repairing the installation (under add/remove programs) and it does nothing.

Any suggestions?

I have the exact same problem, except I have Windows 2007! I'm going to have to revert back to my paper planner pages.

Same problem - constant crashes. Too bad too - I was starting to like the product but there is no way I'm going to purchase it now that my trial is up.

You would think by now that Franklin Covey would be able to put out a stable product. I tried this add-on a few year ago and had the same problems.

I have the exactly the same problem with the latest version. Since day1 it keeps on crashing my Outlook. I contacted support, but everytime they come back with the same suggestion - Remove the software, run installer cleanup utility, run outlook diagnostics, re-install the software (done it 5 times) ... bla bla bla. If I remove the software, my outlook is totally stable.

I really wasted my money. I would also not recommend it for anybody ...

I too have the same issue.  Now windows gives me crash reports saying the FranklinCovey is what caused it.

I've used many versions of PlanPlus over the years on many compueters and they've always managed to find a fix. I have this problem too but it's only been for the last few days, my upgrade to 5.0 functioned fine for several weeks. I'm wondering if it's related to a recent Windows update?

Click the disabled addons button, enable the the planplus plugin. Close outlook and open it normally. this fixed this issue for me.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Change refill in a franklin covey bristol mini pen

Hello, I have a Franklin & Covey Lexington ballpoint which looks similar to yours. To replace the refill pull apart the outer top and bottom sections, grip the plastic top of the refill and unscrew anti clockwise. Remove refill, replace and screw in new refill clockwise (but not too tight). Hope this helps.

I can't download the software having purchased it. It timed out and now states I have downloaded it so can't download again! This is the Franklin Covey Forms Wizard 5.0

You're going to need to contact the distributor you purchased your program from. Explain to them the download timed out before you could complete it, and hopefully they'll let you download it again.

Just copy the .pst file from C:\Documents and Settings\<your name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook to the same place on the new computer. When you open Outlook for the first time, click File>>Open, and browse to the .pst file.

Outlook 2007 not product key provide me

Hello there,

We do not provide product keys for Microsoft Outlook 2007 or any other Microsoft license keys. Please try to understand that you need to purchase your own genuine license key to use the application. Using pirated keys is illegal and would take you to software piracy as Microsoft easily detects IP addresses doing it. If you want to use Outlook, you can use "Outlook Express" which is a built in application on your computer upon installing windows; besides, its FREE.

Trial version Vs. Registered Version

I had a similar problem and found out it was a conflict with "google desktop". If you are running that program, try uninstalling it and see if it makes any difference.

Two computers

You should be able to install it on both computers, but if you're the one going to be using both, then it will become tedious entering the information into both computers. If you're wanting to make use of one while a family member uses the other, you should be fine; but if your purchase is for a business, you are expected (by law) to purchase the second package, as the software is licensed for an individual.

On the other hand, if you mean a palm-type PC, yes, you can sync your calendar with your palm computer:

System Requirements for PlanPlus for Microsoft Outlook:
· Microsoft Outlook® 2000, 2002 (XP), or 2003
· PC with 400 MHz or higher processor clock speed
· Microsoft Windows® 2000 or XP editions
· 128 MB RAM or higher recommended (64 MB minimum supported; may limit performance and features)
· 120 MB available hard disk space
· CD-ROM or DVD drive
· Super VGA (800x600 or higher resolution) with 256 colors
· Mouse or compatible pointing device
· Computer speakers for multimedia presentation
· Palm OS 4.0 or higher required for synchronization with Palm OS handhelds
· Windows Mobile 5.0 or higher required for synchronization with Pocket PC/Windows Mobile devices (touch screen)
· Tablet PC device required to utilize some digital ink and pen input features in PowerNotes
