no just the IP address. you have to enable to share on both computers in order to share any files.
you can share the whole hard drive of just certain folder.
first, you need to configure both machine on the same subnet, rename the machine so you see what is what. (right click on the network place> properties. right click on Local Area Connection. select the TCP/IP and configure it).
NOTE: it will be easier, if you configure all your equipment on the same subnet. (like: 192.168.168 200-10/255.255.255.0)
2). control panel> system> computer name, configure that (both machine need to be in the same group).
3). control user account, you need to asign a user password for whom ever need to access the share. (it don't work without a password.)
4). don't forget to reconfigure your zone alarm and Norton, on the ip address part.
5). restart the machine. click on the network place and see if you see the machines. double click on the machine. put in the password. you should be able to gain access to sharing the machine.
