One possible problem is the cable clamp is loose, allowing it to slip. Check to see if the throttle is functioning.

Why when I pull the cord, the trimmer doesnot turn

Will not turn if it is clutch driven. When motor starts and revs are up it will turn provided the clutch is working correctly.

How do I adjust the float to get more gas. bring the float up higher or lower the the float?

Lowering the float allows the fuel to enter. As the float rises, the needle valve is depressed, cutting off the fuel.

How do you rebuild carberater on a 4 cycle 29cc weed trimmer

There is not much to it. There should be information stamped or printed on the side of the carb - maker and model#s. Take this information and do an internet search with it. You should find a rebuild kit for around $10. The kit should come with a diagram and directions. Take the carb apart, clean as necessary, reassemble with the new parts and you are good to go.

Stay running

The carburetor needs to be adjusted very slightly, with a special tool. If still under warranty bring it to the Sears repair center quickly before you damage the engine.

Cutting head on 29cc trimmer will not stop rotating at idle, cleaned filter, changed oil, cleaned spark arrester, tried adjusting idle speed, nothing seemed to help

You didn' t list the model number. Have you tried placing the head on the grass? does it stop then? It has a centrifugal clutch, if the idle speed is too fast, it will spin. There could be a broken spring or dirt in the clutch keeping it engaged.

What oil do you use in the four cycle motor/ 29cc

Generally speaking, if there is a place on a gas-powered device that is labeled "gas" & a separate location labeled "oil" than you will need to use a 4-cycle oil for that machine. If there is just a place to put gas, you would use a 2-cycle oil; however, you would need to read the directions/manual to find out the correct proportion of oil to use, because you will have to MIX the appropriate amount of oil with the correct amount of gas, making a oil/gas solution that you would use for that specific device.
