Kindly get four audio RF connection wires look for the audio output on the front or back of your tv. one of the output connection is white the other is red.look for the same connectors on your reciever the same colour.but they are marked input.plug the output wires from your tv to the input connection of your reciever.if you have separate speakers, connect the speaker wires from the output connectors of your reciever so you can get sound comming from your tv through your reciever, good luck.

Adding speakers

HelloThere is audio output from the TV at its back. They will be marked as [Audio Out]. Connect these sockets with any audio IN socket of an amp or so, whichever you uses to hear audio, with an RCA cable twins. Set the TV speaker option to OFF. To make TV option to OFF, get into its menu, surf through, annd come to AUDIO window. Here you can choose the audio option. Select the last 'TV Speaker ON", and make it OFF. Now the audio from the speakers of the TV will get OFF. You can use the amp you connected to hear audio from TV.RCA cable will look as below. It can be bought from most of the electronic spare part selling shops at your town. Ok12_19_2011_2_27_50_pm.jpg

I want to connect microlab speaker to my sharp aquos 46" tv. please guide me how can I connect 6 plugs of the speaker to the rear of the tv? Thanks

Hello.
You can not connect any speaker to TV directly.
You TV have non-amplified output on the back "Audio out" that you connect using red and white RCA style cable into home theater system or some other audio amplifier. Amplifier itself should have outputs for speakers. Amplifier and speakers have to match. If you have just bare speaker/speakers I would recommend to get rid of it and purchase cheap home theater system that would definately solve your problem. They come with instructions and diagrams of how to connect it to TV.
Regards.

Want speakers to work when watching tv

you have to find the audio output from tv, or tv box, and hook it to an input on your reciver, then you will have to change input on the reciver to the input you pluged the audio cables into, that will fix your problem

Can't get audio via optical port.

ok, i think the problem lies with the tv, there must be a setting in the sound menu to use optical as sound out, as the sound will be via the HDMI cable, i applogise if you have checked this.

Sourondsound hook up

Hey jessyqadir,

If your home theater system's speakers still aren't functioning, you may want to make sure that your TV is correctly set to an external speaker mode. This can typically be done by accessing your TV's audio menu and choosing an option titled "Sound Select" or something similar. Many TV's will have a variety of speaker configurations they are able to support by default, but must be correctly set in order for audio playback to be heard through external speakers.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron
