Question about HP PhotoSmart C4180 All-in-One Color InkJet Photo Printer

1 Answer

Cannot open rear door

I'm trying to clear a paper jam in my C4180. The manual says to "press in the tab on the left side of the rear door to release the door." I have pressed, pushed, pulled and yanked the tab, but it does not want to move. I have two C4180 units, and neither tab is cooperating. I then tried to pry the door open, but it seems completely sealed from the evil end-user.

Any suggestions?

I figured it out! I yanked the tab to the right extremely hard, thereby opening the door. Obviously, "press in the tab" was incorrect in HP's manual.
