I was getting out of my car when my Escort fell to the floor. i was wondering if there is anyway possible that it may be fixed or do i have to buy a new one?

When the unit fell no doubt the wire that connects the two units was damaged and the speaker is not being energized. Check for a disconnect at either end of the wire and check both wires for continuity.

Don't worry - you do not have to buy a new speaker and it is a relatively easy fix.

Try to contat site where you bought it, if they have any authorized repair shop else you might take it to a cell phone repair shop.

it will be a problem as the heat shield is there i to stop the floor from getting hot. It stops heat from going to other areas (fuel lines ,wiring harnesses )and causing problems

Don,t waste your money on getting it repaired, Minimuin cost is from $150 end up, depending on what is wrong with it, You can buy a decent use amp for less .

Exactly 1.5 meters?

2 possibilities
1- cheap- replace fuel filter
2- if above does not fix- could be catalytic converter in exhaust( not cheap)

bad sign... when the CP turns black, the CPU IC maybe damaged... an expert cellphone technician may fix it but it have a 50-50 chance or best to buy a new CP... sorry for your broken CP... but still hope that it can be fix or if you can afford a new one...

Did you replace the ideler arm? see if you can wiggle any of the pullys if they move or have end play you will have to fix the pully to get the belt to saty on. be sure belt is on straight.

Evesham have gone bust so I dont think you can get it fixed. Probaly cheaper to buy another on ebay. I picked one up the other day for £50
