Question about Printers & Copiers

1 Answer

Here is the situation: 3 weeks ago I bought new ink cartridges for my printer. Although my computer ALWAYS told me that the cartridges were empty (even at the beginning, with the cartridges I got when I bought the printer, the printer still printed things. Now it doesnt print AT ALL even tho I didnt print that much material. I took the cartridge back to the saleman who tells me theres still plenty of ink in there even if the puter saids otherwise- just do an ''alignement adjustment'' and all should be ok. Did that. No printing still, Uninstalled than re-installed printer. Nothing still. Can you help?? Thanks! Marie

Printer thinks cartridges empty

Unplug your printer from the computer and then the power supply. Remove the inks from the printer. Plug the printer back into the computer first then connect the power supply. Install the inks "very slowly" one by one and then check the levels, they should now read full. Thank you, Dana

Printer will not print

This is the common problem of all brands of inkjet printers friend. You should atlease power on and off weekly once every inkjet printer. Otherwise the inkjet cartridges may claute.Call Epson service people they will come and clear it. Dont clean your cartridges yourself and waste valuable inks.

"No Black Ink Cartridge" after a new cartridge has been inserted

It sounds like the actual ink sensor has failed. You can check if it has a print head cleaning routine in the software on the computer. Most likely the actual ink sensor has died though, I've seen this many times. Call Brother to confirm, or maybe if it's still under any kind of warranty: 877-276-8437

Ink low indication on HP Deskjet F4288

hi im josh in cebu phils.may i help you? Friend the problem is the ink level dropped 3/4 after printing 7 pages and low exclamation mark in red. Friend it is the real deal since you are using a free ink cartrdge with your printer that ink is only a sample one and the content of that cartridge is not full thats why it dropped to empty in just a few pages of printing. It just appear full in the ink level monitoring since the printer auto detects new cartridge on the tank. It is just so You need to buy a new ink cartridge the one with the full content.and i'm sure it will last a long time since it is already full. thats all friend good luck hope i helped you.

Check ink cartridge

Your ink cartridges could be dried up or empty, even if they are new.

I have a new HP Deskjet F4280 bought 3 weeks ago & the blank ink cartridge was empty & I refilled it in a store & placed it back but printer recognise that the cartridge is empty & it does not have a chip.

You cannot reset the ink level for the HP 60 ink cartridge. Simply ignore the ink level indicator if you refill your cartridges. It is only an estimate of the ink level anyway. See pg 72 of the user manual.

Frequent problems with the magenta cartridge of my PIXMA MP510.

Dirty or faulty contacts in the cartridge chamber is the only logical explanation.
Remove the cart and with a cotton wool bud and a little alcohol or similar[NOT ACTETONE it melts plastic] give a gentle clean.
