Replace the whole heaphone jack!! Replace it with a new metal 1/4 in. 3 piont jack that you find at any radio shack for a couple bux(these are also the same type of metal 1/4 in jack you'd find on an Allen&Heath brand mixer). The factory one on pioneers is a cheap plastic (Sony ,I believe) peices of **** ,and they always go out or brake. It's not hard to do it yurself though. As long as you can solder and have some apptitude for basic electronix ,you can do it yurself. You'll have to remove all the plastic knobs. then remove the 6 screws on the top plate; the four corners and the sides from the top panel. Don't forget the 2 on the outside of the crossfader ,and the 2 at the top for the mic xlr plug in. Then the top panel/plate should come off easily. This should expose the heaphone jack and enable you to remove it. There's a cheap plastic nut holding the jack on ,remove that and gently pull out the headphone jack till the wire slack catches. cut/snip the wires as close to the headphone jack as possible ,noting their placement! Remove sum jacketing from the ends of the wires ,and solder them back into place on the new metal heaphone jack make shure to test the jack out before putting everything back together!!. Follow the forehand instructions backwards and wahlah. You'll probly never have to replace the headphone jack for the rest of the life of the mixer. I've had the same 500 for 5 years now. The headphone jack went out on it in the first 6 months I had it. I replaced it my self and its werked fine and minorly trouble free for years past. I had to retighten the top nuts once or twice over the years ,but no biggy. Hope this helps! good luck

Pioneer DJM 600 Master Out 2 Left Side Doesnt Work. any help please?

it could be a few problems,

1 - the left master connection to the board has come away (you would have to open up the mixer to detect this.)

2 - the master fader is faulty (you can tell this by checking your master level indicators are both on whilst music is playing, or tapping the fader.)

My advice would be to have it serviced or if under warranty speak to the store you bought it from. But if you feel confident and know what your doing u can find replacement parts on ebay etc.

Hope this helps a little

No sound coming from headphones using my dj mixer. however through speakers sounds fine. Im using 2 pioneer cdj 1000 mk3 and a djm 800. The sound works perfectly through speakers. how ever nothing through...

hii there, pls try to use another headphone on your mixer, if you get the same problem. It means your headphone have no problem. Problem is with the the jack of your mixture. Open your mixture and check the jack properly attached internal.

Pioneer DJM 600 mixer keeps blowing ic 557 fuse on power supply board

I repair DJM 600 for many years. :) The reason for the burning of IC 557 (+8V H 600mA ) is invalid amplifier for headphones!!!
Replace IC 310 and IC 312 (in big mainboard), and replace
IC 557with original fuse 600mA
!!!!!CHECK YOUR HEADPHONES!!!!!! This is the cause burning amps.!!!!!

One Output low on DJM 400

This may not be the correct solution, but have you checked the switches on the back of the DJM-400 to see if one output is set to "PHONO" mode?

Headphone jack on pioneer djm-600 fallen through!

If it's fallen inside then either it's fixing nut has become unscrewed or the thread on the socket has collapsed, see here for a replacement :-

Get yourself a manual. It will help you. You can DOWNLOAD A FREE COPY of the PIONEER DJM600 INSTRUCTION MANUAL from HERE.

Now, you have to use the CUE button function on each channel to select what you want to hear when you cue things in the headphones. Last, you control the volume of the master cue in the headphones using the CUE volume of the headphone CUE section.

Pioneer DJM-600 black Professional DJ power on but not working!! i check bouth the fuses and are working i can see that is power in te mixer but no answer with any signal of leds or music signal

So you get power to the unit, but no sound coming out? How about through the headphones, do you get sound coming out of the headphones?

Are all the volumes and gains raised up? All the eq's are up? Check the back of the mixer, there is a master gain volume - where the connections are - make sure this is up also.

If nothing, then you'll need professional help at this point.
