My problem is blurry photos. Problem occurs when taking pictures over a few feet away. I have tried manual focus, with no improvement. The pictures are blurry but I don't think it's a focus problem. No...

You haven't switched the camera to "macro" mode by any chance? Flash should eliminate camera shake as the source of the problem. If it isn't macro mode, then it sounds like a fault requiring the repair shop.

Taking pictures

Many of these digital video cameras are not very good for taking still photos. They are optimized for taking moving video pictures. There are many technical reasons for this.

If you want to take still photos, you will find that even a low cost digital still camera will be much better than most any of the video cameras.

Likewise, if you try to take moving pictures with a still camera that gives the movie option, you will find that it will not do as good as a dedicated video camera for the application. This is why manufactures go to the trouble to make both types of cameras.

If your video camera has a flash option for photos and it does not work for still pictures, consult the user guide about how to set this up. If it is properly set up, and it still does not work, then there is probably a fault in the logic control for the flash unit. This will then require factory level service.

Digital stills

The panasonic PV-L750 comes with an 8 MB Compact Flash card for storing digital still pictures.

To remove this flash card from the camcorder, open the cassette loading area using the "Tape Eject" button. The card is located inside this area. Find the "Card Eject" button to remove the flash card.

You will have to purchase a USB compact flash card READER to view and/or transfer the pictures to your PC's hard drive. You can purchase one at any computer supply store, or buy one online if you like.

Once you've transfered the images from the USB flash card reader to your PC, you can view and/or edit them with your favorite graphics image editing software.

Good luck!

Macromedia flash player and sony dcr-hc19e

Have found the solution to the problem. If you cannot access Picture Package because it says Macromedia Flash needs to be downloaded, and you have already downloaded Flash successfully then the problem is with Picture Package, and it needs to be updated. Go to http://www.ppackage.com/e/index.html and download the most recent update for your version of Picture Package. This solved the problem for me and hopefully will do the same for you!

Macromedia Flash

I am wrting in regards to my Sony Handycam DCR-HC36. I am having problems with the Picture Package software when I try to load my video. When I try to transfer my videos (from my Handycam) to my Pesonal Computer, the picture package(software) menu does not appear on my PC(The picture package software is already installed).

Everytime I try to click on the Picture Package Icon on my desktop, there is a pop-up that says I "must install Macromedia Flash Player for Application to continue".

I went ahead and installed the Adobe (Macromedia) Flash Player and it still doesn't work when I try to click on the Picture Package Icon. The pop-up still comes up. I also, re-installed some of the requirements for the for the camera to work such as Direct X and Windows Media Player.

I also enabled my Javascript(active Script).

The problem is most likely within my PC(maybe I'm missing another type of software???), what do you think are my options in resolving this matter?

Please help me out
