connect your mp3 to the computer via usb or if has a memmory card, remove it then put it in the card reader then connect to the pc, after connecting to the pc, your computer identify it as a removable drive then put the music or videos that you want on that removable drive
Do you allready try in other computers? Turn off your antivirus, and try to connect its your computer usb 2.0 (when u connect mp3 player to your pc show something like This device works better in a 2.0 usb port?) Some times a non original version of Xp dont really works good whit usb devices as digital cameras, usb flash memories, cell phones, and all in one printers (extraible disk drives); In This case try first in other machine if this works reformat your machine o if you got the restauration cds used in your pc
Triple Reset for Philips’ GoGear: Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off.Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab.Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions. After repair is complete, upgrade the firmware for this player. Will erase all the songs, but you should be good to go again. -Tha Mp3 Doctor
OK, I have new information for you. A customer called in today with an SA6045, and he had connected it to his Xbox. The Xbox reformatted his player for an Xbox, and this caused his computer no longer to recognize it. We were unable to reformat it for his computer
The principle works the same with the PS3. In light of this new information, I would NOT try to connect the GoGear to the PS3. It may cause more problems than it solves.
For more info on your model, though, you can enter in that model at: www.usasuppot.philips.com
