Lost sound

You burned out the audio chipset, (Unless when you downloaded the audio drivers, you did not Install them. You have to download AND install)

Suggest you purchase an economical sound card. Just ONE example,

Audio is not working....

I suggest copy all important contents from C:drive, format it, freshly instal windows then instal the drivers. It takes lots of time. I also suggest you make a backup with Norton GHOST or something at this point. Because you might need to run the backups from time to time your audio bugs you again.

AUDIO DRIVER INSTALLER

Hello i would suggest takin off the cover on the side of the computer and using a flashlite and looking around your memory slots or your pci slots for the model number of your motherboard once you have that you can put it into google and do a search to find the maker of the motherboard thus enabling you to go to their site and downloading the correct drivers.

Audio driver problem

You should install the Chips drivers or intall all the driver in series listed in your CD Utilities. Its good if you download the latest drivers of your system at www.asus.com or here: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

You should download for 64x2 drivers.
