Question about Televison & Video
What model is your Sony and how old is it and has it been moved recently?
It sounds like there is a connector loose or a component not quite making a good connection. I'd recommend finding a reputable TV repair shop. Like finding a good car mechanic, I'd ask around local folks you know.
