Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
It doesn't respond to anything. When I push the copy/start button it doesn't react. It just sits there looking for manual for canon gp215 photocopier
2 things will cause this.
1 is a problem with the scanner: brokenn cable, dirty rails, dirty or faulty sensor, faulty scan motor or motor driver.
The second is much simpler. A stuck key on the keypad will lock the machine. Press every button on the panel to make sure each one makes the usual click sound as it is pressed. Sometimes just pressing the keys will cause it to become unstuck, other times the keyboard must be disassembled to remove the crumb, dirt, debris, etc, interfering with the key.
