It sounds like either you did not get the parking brake handle all the way down or the switch is stuck. If the switch sticks, sometimes it will release if you hold the button in and move the parking brake handle up and down rapidly a couple of times. If this does not work, then you will need to disassemble the center console to get to the switch and repair it.
The parking brake indicator switch is located at the base of the parking brake lever mechanism on the right side.

Apply brakes and park lights come on

By park lights, do you mean the dash indicator? If so could be one of two problems, the light is also used to indicate low brake fluid and also a wear indicator on brake pads, good luck

My inside dashboard lights and back break light suddenly stopped working so cant drive it at night. Its a 99 honda prelude. I've tried changing the light bulbs and the fuse but still not working.

If the dash lights are on the same circuit as the park lights. Chances are if no dash lights... no park lights. Unless the dash light dimmer switch is on the low position. Check park light fuse. If no brake lights... which are on a different circuit and you are sure the bulbs are ok check brake light fuse. If fuse ok, unplug brake light switch at brake pedal and cross the terminals with a jumper. If brake lights work, the brake switch is faulty. If still no brake light operation suspect a wiring issue

1994 dodge dakota my headlights and tail lights and brake lights don't work my abs and parking brake lights are on my dash lights don't work either I replaced the headlight switch and still no

These are all different circuits. The brake lights are on a 10amp fuse - the headlights are on a 50amp fuse - and the parking and dash lights are on a 20amp fuse.
Do you have power going into the headlight switch and the brake light switch ?

Look under the dash by the parking brake and try to see if any wires are being moved or chafed by the parking brake linkages. That is what I have found in the past.

PARKING BRAKE LIGHT ON AND OFF

Usually that means there is slack in the Parking brake cable. If you have an owners manual it should mention using the Parking brake.

On most cars if you back up and use the Parking brake several times it will tighten the cable and adjust those brakes.

There is a switch under the dash that makes contact with the cable assembly and when the cable has slack, the switch will not make contact like it should. Thats when the light comes on.
