Tip

Free spyware removal and guard dog software.

My review of the best spyware protection invented yet.

Every wonder is there a good free anti-spyware software out there?

You bet there is, and it was recommended to me by the pros at McAfee customer service.

It is called Super Anti Spyware. This free software is as good as any your dollars can buy, maybe better. They have the free version, and a professional version for $29.95. I believe that is a lifetime fee. The free version is not a free trial either, you get free updates for as long as you use the software.

In my humble opinion, both versions are power weapons in the war against computer hackers and the spyware they so notoriously use. If you have it on your computer, Super Anti spyware will found it and kick it out the door. Capable of detecting adware, malware, spyware, Trojans, tracking cookies, and if it's any type of infection, Super Anti Spyware has got you covered.

Possibly the best spyware protection on the planet.

Go to www.superantispyware.com to download and get protected today.

Tip

Do you have Norton Anti-Virus on your PC.

8 out of 10 computers have Norton Anti-Virus installed on their PC. Or you getting message to tell you to update your subscription? If so read on.

Have you notice that your PC is slowing down, or you getting blue screens, is your PC slow to boot, those your PC shutdown really slow. Are you getting pop-ups stating that your PC is infected. These are all symptoms of an out of date Norton Ant-Virus subscription. Even if you have have a current Norton Anti-Virus subscription you may still be infected.

OK, so here is how to fix your PC. First if you do not want to use Norton Anti-Virus anymore you need to remove it. You need to remove it from the control panel add/remove programs. You also need to get the Norton removal tool from Symantec, which makes Norton Anti-Virus. Watch my video from more details. Click here

So now your PC should be running better than before. Remember once Norton Anti-Virus is removed you need to scan it for viruses and then protect it. I recommend and personal use Avast, it is Free for home users and it simply works. Avast does not slow down your computer and it updates everyday with a visual and audio indicators. What more could you ask for. I use Malwarebyte's Anti-Mal ware on-line protection in conjunction with Avast for total protection. You can get that here. Try the free version first and it will get all those infections that Norton Anti-Virus failed to protect. Then upgrade to the Pro version if you need it. Here is the site http://www.malwarebytes.org/.

So now your PC is virus free and protected. What else can you do. I would get Ccleaner from www.ccleaner.com, this is also a free utility that I use. It removes all those temp files and other junk that is slowing down your PC. I do not recommend any registry programs. If you have any those on your PC. You need to remove them, they do not work.

The last thing you need to get is to de-frag your hard drive. I use this one. It is also Free so get it. Click here.

So now you are done and your PC should be a lot faster and better. However if you are still having issues you need to reload your whole operating system. Most people do not have the original CD so you will have to get a professional to do this. If you need help with that you can visit my site at www.adjustservices.com.

I hope this tip was helpful.

Under your spy ware protection it says that my subscription has expired. It was renewed on June 23,2008 and is supposed to be good untill August of 2009.It was billed to my master card onMay 26,2008....

Hi Chuck,

You pay for spyware protection whereas it is available for free of charge to download and install for whole life time....
I would advise you to uninstall your existing spyware protection and then install Avira anti virus protection..AVIRA IS A FREE ANTI-VIRUS *** SPYWARE SOFTWARE AND IT IS FREE FOR WHOLE LIFE...
download it from the following link..

http://www.free-av.com/en/download/1/avira_antivir_personal__free_antivirus.html

Good luck ;-)

Norton is saying im not protected from viruses. it says my auto-protect is off. but it wont let me turn it on. or fix the problem. how do i fix it?

If you have installed a free-trial copy, your subsrciption is expired & that is why you are getting this message. Purchase the norton anti-virus from their site. Even if you try to reinstall it, it won't let you..

Apparantly my anti-virus is turned off. I do not know how to turn it on. Anti-virus sub is DWDXPVWDB6VM

Please post which Anti Virus program you are referring to (Norton, Symantec, AVG, Avast, etc....)? As the different applications use different terminologies and knowing which one will help us help you.

At any rate I would suggest making sure your AV definitions are up to date, and if not update them. Then reboot holding the F8 key and selec "Safe Mode" when the option screen appears and press "Enter" then select your Operating system on the next screen and again press "Enter". Then select yes when the Grey pop up appears. When you see a desktop (it will look different with "Safe Mode" on all edges of the screen) you should click start, then rest over "All programs" and select your anti-virus program and run a full scan in safe mode.
I suggest this as your AV protection being turned off may suggest infection and the safe mode scan can possibly repair it.

After i install norton antivirus protection, my computer runs very slow .can you please help?

Hi,

That is usually the case. Norton eats up a lot of resources. If it is slowing the computer too much, either uninstall it, turn off real time protection or get more RAM for your PC.
