Question about Projection Televisions
SOURCE: no picture but has sound
If the screen turns bright blue then you may have a bad blue crt(picture tube) I suggest an on site diagnosis by a Sony ASC to verify if it's the crt. Crt's can run up to $150.00 plus installatin and alignments.

Check the heater power supply. you can find it at the CRT cuircuit at the back of the Picture tube. labeled H1 and H2 check the resistor Bias or re-heat CRT socket.

If i am to understand this correctly, this is a rear projection television. Inside there may be 1 - 3 " color " control boards that control the picture before going on to the projector. an accumulation of dust / dirt / debris has adverse affects on electronic componants, make sure they are dust free (compressed air cleans them off quite well. If using a home compressor, make sure there is a vapor filter to remove water from the airlines.)
If they are clean, and as you said you recently had the television serviced to replace the projection lamp, take the television back to the repair shop to have them determine the problem.
If you yourself replaced the projection lamp, be sure to check all connections are properly seated if you had to disconnect something, make sure they are in the proper places, and any connections are securely connected.
If all else fails, have a local electronics / television repair person check the unit for faulty componants.

SOURCE: FINAL WARNING REPLACE LAMP NOW
All rear projection TVs has a lamp thats like a special bulb inside the TV.
The TV is warning you that this is about to go and will need to be replaced.
This is not a serious problem as TV lamps goes after certains hours of use (normally 4,000 hours sometimes more) and the TV manual should have instructions on how to do this and the part you need.
Contact Sharp support if your TV is still in warranty and for further help :
if this helps please vote ...thanks and good luck!
